Monte Verde Karting – Lebanon

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

By entering the track and signing this document, the Participant (or Guardian) acknowledges that Go-Karting is an inherently dangerous motorized sport. Risks include, but are not limited to, high-speed collisions, overturning, mechanical failures, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death. You voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown.

2. Physical & Health Requirements

Drivers must be in good health. Participation is strictly prohibited for:

• Pregnant women.
• Individuals with heart, back, or neck conditions.
• Individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
• Safety Rule: Long hair must be tied and tucked inside clothing. Loose scarves, hijabs, or shawls must be tucked in or removed to avoid axle entanglement.

3. Compliance & Marshals' Authority

All drivers must follow the instructions of the Track Marshals immediately. The Marshal’s decision is final. Failure to obey flags will lead to immediate disqualification without refund.

Minor Consent: Participants under 18 must have this waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian in accordance with the Lebanese Code of Obligations and Contracts.

4. Rules of Conduct & Damage Liability

• Non-Contact: Intentional bumping or "ramming" is strictly forbidden.
• Financial Responsibility: The driver (or guardian) is financially responsible for any damage to the kart or track equipment caused by reckless driving.
• Stay in the Kart: Never exit the kart on the track. If you stop, stay seated and raise your hand.

5. Release of Liability & Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by Lebanese Law, the Participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges Monte Verde Karting, its owners, and employees from any and all liability for personal injury, property damage, disability, or death arising out of or related to the use of the track and karts, whether caused by the negligence of the Participant, other drivers, or otherwise, except in cases of proven gross negligence by track management.

6. Force Majeure

Monte Verde Karting shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations (including cancellations or delays) due to causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes extreme weather (heavy rain, lightning), power outages, civil unrest, strikes, or government-mandated closures. In such events, Monte Verde Karting reserves the right to reschedule sessions at its discretion.
